I just got a phone call from home! When my room phone rang, I thought it would be the dorm desk (as has always been the case so far), but it was such a pleasant surprise. Actually when I think about it, it is a little weird chatting with my mom the way I usually do, just that this time it's over the phone when we could usually do it in person. But it's good to have a piece of home with me for a while. :)
