I have to declare that I truly don't like group work, especially when my partner is someone I hardly know! Discussions are awkward, work allocation that had seemed straightforward enough now seem a little strange. I'd just received his part for the report and presentation, and after reading through it, it seems that both of us are going off on different tangents. What a mess! That was surprise number one. Surprise number two was that he actually writes pretty well, and the standard is higher than I'd expected. Having said that, we have vastly different writing styles, and now I have to try to modify both parts for more consistency and merge them into one report for submission. I've never been much of a person for using lots of graphs and statistics, but apparently he is. Arrghhhh.
