Some lessons learnt in the past few days:
If it's too good to be true, it's not true.
Sometimes we have to take calculated risks.
Follow through on decisions we've already made.
If two people talk at the same time, no one's listening.
Not to be hasty when it comes to major decisions.
If people are pressurising you, there's something fishy.
If people are saying 'okay' to everything, it's even fishier.
Learn to trust in older adults' experience and gut feelings.
The two Cs: Compromise and Control (temper)
And my favourite lesson of all...
If you see a fire burning, pour cold water on it! :D
