This sight greeted me as I climbed behind the wheel of the car. Much as I like swirls and think this looks somewhat artistic, it still means that some bloody person used something to smash our windscreen! My mom estimates that it'll cost about $1000 to replace it. Who's that idiot who did this, bloody asshole!

Anyway, happy birthday yh! :)

I killed three birds with one stone simply by turning up at the dinner party - I got to meet hh whom I haven't seen in years, managed to meet up with fy before our 11 jun date, and of course, wished the birthday boy happy birthday! Darius was really funny, I don't think I've laughed so much over dinner before.

A pick-up line I heard over dinner: Most people call me -insert name-, but you can call me tonight. I imagine this to be said with an eyebrow raised with a come-hither look. Gosh.

Hh was talking about not seeing a brown cow before, as she associated cows with white as the main colour, with brown patches. The conversation at the table roughly went like this:

A: I'd never seen a brown cow before! Then you know what someone told me?
B: What?
A: The cow is brown because it produces chocolate milk.
B: Wah, then I'd prefer to be an Indian baby.

Someone's friend worked at the Starhub call centre, and apparently a Chinese national called in to seek help. When asked for his IC number, he rattled it off. The staff asked as a confirmation, "G for...?" The reply: G for 鸡肉 (chicken meat). Dang, it's unbelievable! It reminds me of the joke about the ah lians in a hotel lift wanting to go downstairs, and one was impressed when the other managed to find out which button to press to go down. She pressed G, thinking: G for Gero mah! -.-''

I had a good laugh at all the things that went on at the dinner table today. We had some jokers around, I'm really glad I went! All in all, an enjoyable dinner, and a rather rare circumstance in which people who don't know each other can get together and have fun.

Us ping pongers rock! And I really really really should check my bat, do something about it if the rubber is not usable anymore, then find some time to finally play with fy! Doubles power, yeah! I'm a happy girl - until I wake up tomorrow with my whole body aching from today's gym session. I need to be more flexible, raaar.
