I wonder if I've got bad eating/sleeping habits, or that the weather's getting to me, or some other reason, but late at night I get stomachaches, while in the wee hours of the morning I tend to feel queasy. Urgh. Don't feel good now. Body: behave, I say!
Anyhow, Lissa's birthday celebration turned out good, I think she had fun, and it seemed that she really liked my gift. :) I enjoyed the night, when four of us got together to cook a yummy dinner. Sitting around the table, I found it amazing (still) that four people of different nationalities could get together for a wonderful meal. It was a good first step, hanging out with two of them for the first time, considering that all of us will be going to Sapporo together. Once again, someone else younger than me called me Kaori-chan. What's up with this trend! >.<
Some people are really hopeless. Maybe they're good at spending money on others, but not time. Self-centred as I am, at least I try to behave in such a way that someone needn't fret over me, especially when it is the person's birthday. Even if I were bored, I'd keep the boredom out of my face and look like I'm having fun, or at least making the effort to. Even if I were craving a smoke, I wouldn't complain about there not being any smoking areas nearby when the others are still having their meals. Even if I couldn't stand the boredom and went to find a place to smoke, I would still rejoin the birthday party, or at least say goodbye personally. If I didn't feel like going to all the trouble to do all the niceties, I simply wouldn't turn up. That way, fewer people would be upset about my behaviour, and the birthday person wouldn't feel bad about anything. Most would agree with me, no?
