yours, mine, ours

Earmarking a certain place as "yours" is something almost everyone does. Some places you go with a certain person, you don't want to share with another. So you find some other place to mark as "yours" at a different time, with a different person. It makes me wonder, in a place such as Singapore, what happens when you run out of places? Do you share the older haunts with someone new? It'll feel strange, wouldn't it? Being assaulted by old memories when you're trying to create new ones.

Then there are new places you come across, and it makes you feel sad, because you think it could've been some place you would've shared, would've added to the collection of "yours". All the tomorrows that you had put off, naively believing there to be tomorrows, they turn to ashes.
