i wish im rollin' in the dough
Monday, 27 August 2007

It bothers me that I have to pay for the need to find out, to let things run naturally (or as naturally as is possible, given the circumstances). It would be easier to say "nah, it's okay, I'll give it up, and you pay for me", and voila, problem solved. Since it hasn't worked out to be that way, I guess I'll be in debt for a few years. If things don't work out, will I be resentful? Probably not, since I need to be prepared for that possibility. And I've realised that paying for your own way makes you feel better, like the Hong Kong trip. The difference this time is that I need to multiply the amount by many fold.

I have to start by buying myself a laptop. Gawd. With so many brands and models out in the market, I'm supposed to do my research and get one in less than three weeks. Oh. And I suppose the visa application money's coming out of my pocket too. So much for being non-broke after getting my allowance.

"Money, money, money, always money, in a rich man's world..."

Why does it keep boiling down to that? How annoying.
