There are some things I'd like to erase from my memory. When I cast my mind back, I try to skip that embarrassing phase. Selective memory, they call it? It really doesn't matter what people say about bad experiences, how they're learning experiences and all that. To the main player in that memory, it is embarrassing, period. Why would I want to take out memories that make me cringe? Labels: musings
Sometimes I wish I could've done better, that things didn't turn out that way. Since there's no turning back time, there's only the intentional amnesia that I can invoke. On the bright side, there's a second chance to go back and belong. :)
