Some doctors piss me off big time. "... please tell the pp in the office (christine and the other girl whose name I do not know)..." Pray tell, who the hell is Christine? If she was referring to either hl or gil, who've been around for 5 months, I'd be really pissed on their behalf. And it's rather annoying that I've been around for three weeks and she doesn't bother to know my name although I do trace notes for her and what not. I hate people treating us like crap, thinking they're all high and mighty just cos they're DOCTOR so and so. Big deal. If you're so zai, you go carry the casesheets up and down yourself. I've a good mind to place a tag with an arrow pointing downwards with the words "more items below" towards a whole stack of casesheets when your pigeon hole is too full. Then you can lug it up down to the first floor, then lug it up three flights of stairs yourself, pregnancy notwithstanding. Grrr! I don't like the thought of the hassle of calling up the doctors every single time we trace casesheets, which is so freaking often. Yall think we have nothing better to do is it. Tidy up your tables mans! I can hardly believe that our dear DOCTORS have offices/tables like pigstys. (Ok I'm bias, I'm ranting and I don't want to give them credit at the moment.) What was more irritating was that when I asked one of them about the casesheets, he very flippantly told me he doesn't have any, it's not with him, and didn't quite want me to check his table. Then a few days later, the exact casesheet I was looking for materialised from him. I was soooo annoyed. People like these make working a chore. Thank god for great colleagues. Labels: grr
Maybe I'm grumpy due to lack of sleep. I know I went to work feeling prickly and tight-lipped, and it felt like a chore to open my mouth to answer the phone or talk to others. All I wanted was to be left alone to sit down and stone. Of course I couldn't do that. Then I stubbed my toe against the table. Then I scraped some skin off my heel by walking too close to the cabinet. Then I climbed upstairs to despatch mail, and climbed upstairs to return to my office, which obviously wasn't one level up. Then I tried to push open a door which needed to be pulled open. Then I tried to turn on the laptop without switching on the power. Then I almost lost my balance climbing down the eslacator when it suddenly stopped. Then the darn doctor showed her high and mighty attitude. Then the stupid Mr Sim talked to us so condescendingly about our lost items from the cage.
Raar. What a lousy day.
I probably just need more sleep.
