I have just heard that simply by virtue of being a cheerleader, we are condemned to be slutty and bitchy. I don't deny that our uniform is on the skimpy side, but it doesn't necessarily say anything about our character... does it? Labels: cheerleading, relationships
Come to think about it, what's even more insulting is that the person who thinks that about us sounds even more screwed up than we are. Talk about being unqualified to judge us. Grr.
When people are in relationships they are sometimes so blinded by all sorts of factors that they forget to take care of themselves. Just because the other party's important to us does not mean that we allow them to get away with treating us like crap constantly. We hear about others' horror relationships, we learn from their problems, and we tell ourselves that we will not go down the same path.
